Position Summary
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON-CALL AS SCHEDULED. Assist with the inspection of fire alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance per NFPA-72 standards. The trainee will gain a working knowledge of fire protection inspections and services under direct supervision of an Inspection/Service Technician.

Position Summary
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON-CALL AS SCHEDULED. Assist with the inspection of fire alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance per NFPA-72 standards. The trainee will gain a working knowledge of fire protection inspections and services under direct supervision of an Inspection/Service Technician.
Responsibilities
- Assist with service calls in an efficient manner.
- Accurately keep thorough documentation of service calls.
- Verify all job requirements are met.
- Respond quickly to support and assist customers in need.
- Read/understand a variety of maps to efficiently travel between job sites.
- Help answer and manage incoming calls with customers.
- Develop a working knowledge of life safety and NFPA codes and standards.
- On-the-job and/or classroom training will be provided.
- Other duties as needed.
- Knowledgeable of basic hand tools to operate mechanical and/or electrical devices
- NICET Level I or II a plus.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic skills in computers/tablets required.
- Valid drivers license required.
- Required to pass on the job and educational requirements in Inspection Testing & Maintenance Fire Alarm Systems prior to achieving Inspector status.
