We are currently looking for a motivated Shop Apprentice to join our Custom Department. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn the carpentry trade and gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals.

Shop Apprentice Job Description:

• Support experienced carpenters in daily tasks and learn industry best practices.
• Learn how to operate and maintain woodworking machines and tools safely.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of machinery and shop areas.
• Assist in the preparation, layout, and handling of materials.
• Follow directions, ask questions, and participate actively in learning the trade.
• Support the Custom Department with various duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Follow established safety and quality protocols.

Shop Apprentice Requirements:

• Strong interest in carpentry and willingness to learn on the job.
• No experience required, but hands-on or mechanical background is a plus.
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to contribute to a team environment.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to pass a basic drug and physical exam and background check.
• Required education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
