What are the responsibilities and job description for the AVP - Compliance Auditor position at MBB BANC SERVICES LLC?

Primary responsibilities include planning, directing, and overseeing the compliance audits for their customer base. This position requires a critical thinker with a keen interest in providing necessary audit services for the community banks located in Missouri, Nebraska, Illinois, and Iowa.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide compliance reviews to customer banks to evaluate compliance with regulations applicable to the customer’s audit request.
  • Examine bank records and interview staff to ensure proper procedures are maintained to comply with all applicable regulations relating to the customer’s audit request.
  • Compile compliance review workpapers with sufficient information to support compliance review findings.
  • Communicate compliance review findings by preparing a final report, discussing findings with customer banks.
  • Keep current on banking regulations and related changes/updates.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

  • Requires sitting, standing, bending, and reaching. May require lifting up to 25 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, scanners, calculators, the telephone, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexible work schedules may be allowed when it is feasible, it allows the employee to perform the essential functions of the job and will in no way interfere with providing efficient and effective services.

Time Requirements & Travel:

  • 90% Administrative/Organizational.
  • 10% Travel.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting related field or five plus years of experience in banking/compliance/audit.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance as it relates to banking/compliance/audit.
  • Strong customer service along with verbal and written communication skills.

Salary : $58,800 - $74,500
