Accounts Payable

Seeking an Accounts Payable Representative. This position will review and verify invoices and check requests. Sort, code and match invoices. Set invoices up for payment. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. Perform check runs. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues. Maintain vendor files. Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries. Provide supporting documentation for audits. Assist with month end closing. The Accounts Payable Representative must have knowledge of general accounting procedures. Must have data entry skills, be well organized, and pay attention to detail and accuracy. Qualified candidate needs to be well-versed in accounting software and proficient in computers. Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience is a plus.
