Job Title: Grinder
Department: Grind
Reports To: Department Supervisor
FLSA Status: Hourly
Summary: Prep fiberglass part(s) by grinding, trimming, drilling, and cutting using pre-established measurements, drill guides and templates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Move parts into the grinding booth, pull part from mold.
- Grind, trim, drill and cut parts, using hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools.
- Use proper equipment and processes.
- Layout of options by reading work orders, using prints and/or overlays.
- Polycore areas as required to engineering specifications.
- Rework as necessary.
- General housekeeping of tools, area, and department, this includes keeping track of the filter log for the dust chamber
- Work quickly, safely, and efficiently to meet production schedule and tack times.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Annual Pulmonary Function Testing – Medical Clearance to wear a Respirator
Annual Fit Testing – Testing of the Respirator to ensure it fits safety and securely.
