PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To provide tutoring instruction to students not showing adequate progress in core subject areas and to provide enrichment activities for those students not in need of tutoring.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree, required - $19.00/hour
or
Bachelor's Degree, required &
Valid Texas teaching certificate- $23.00/hour
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
Knowledge in differentiated instruction for English Language Learners
Knowledgeable of the subject being tutored
Good interpersonal skills
Basic clerical skills
Experience:
Previous experience teaching ESL students, preferred
Working Days: 180 days / 3-4 hours per day (19 hrs/week)
Salary : $19 - $23
