McCarthy is seeking a Marketing Coordinator with a focus on communications and proposal development, to be based onsite at the Southwest office in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate has a strong project management skillset and demonstrates excellent communication.
Key Responsibilities
- A strategic individual who can partner with BD, Operations, and Marketing team members to develop best-in-class marketing deliverables, including proposals, presentations, creative and technical writing, award submissions, and more.
- Strong project management skills, including time management, communication, organization, and proactiveness.
- Demonstrates a well-rounded balance of creativity and process-driven skills.
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative, in-person environment.
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to lead a team through storyboarding and messaging exercises to build a compelling client-focused strategy.
- Strong writing skills, particularly for press releases, creative writing, storytelling, and proposal efforts.
- Strong facilitation skills with a proven ability to develop marketing deliverables in a live, collaborative environment.
- Understanding and experience using CRM databases (Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a related marketing or communications role.
- Strong writing portfolio demonstrating storytelling, AP style and/or creative writing is a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, and/or Photoshop are a plus.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- A desire to work in the construction industry, collaborate effectively, and play a key role in helping grow the business.
