Physician Liaison (1099 Independent Contractor – Short Term)

Territory: Northern Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania

Role Summary
We are seeking a Physician Liaison to support the launch of new clinical services by building and maintaining relationships with referring physicians and medical practices. This is a short-term 1099 independent contractor role with primarily remote work and required onsite visits throughout the territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person visits with physicians and medical offices to introduce and promote new services
- Build and maintain strong referral relationships to increase patient referrals
- Strategically visit targeted referral sources to expand service visibility
- Schedule and coordinate physician meetings and onsite visits
- Track outreach activity and follow-up plans
- Provide weekly reports summarizing visits, outcomes, and next steps
Qualifications
- Experience as a Physician Liaison, Medical Sales Rep, or Healthcare Business Development professional preferred
- Sales or healthcare marketing experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Ability to travel within Northern Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania
