What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Mechanic - Experienced Quick service and Maintenance position at McConnell Automotive?
We are looking for Experienced Service technicians to join our quick service team. This position will primarily be performing oil changes, tire rotations and tire replacement/repairs. Depending on the experience of the individual, additional maintenance work can be performed. Individuals motivated to learn this trade will have opportunities to grow into a main shop mechanic. Prior experience with mechanical repair work is preferred but not required. Responsibilities
- Check and communicate oil level to teammates
- Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
- Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
- Complete Multi Point Vehicle Inspection
- Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
- Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
- Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first.
- Communication skills - communicates effectively with others.
- Time management - managing one’s own time and time of others.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
- Mechanical knowledge is preferred but not required.
- 2 years of experience Mandatory
Salary : $14 - $18
