Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Appleton, WI, for a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of industrial equipment.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each of the following
essential duties satisfactorily:
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment such as cleaning and lubricating machinery, replacing filters in lubrication and coolant systems, checking alignment of guide bushings, and inspecting belts and seals.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and CNC system issues
- Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and engineering specifications for troubleshooting
- Replace bearings, drives, and motors to ensure proper machine function
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is required. Technical degree in industrial maintenance or electrical engineering is preferred
- Four years of work experience in industrial maintenance
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Mechanical, numerical, and verbal abilities
- The ability to adapt and work effectively as demonstrated by a history of: strong job performance, following an organization’s processes and procedures, active learning, good interpersonal skills, helpfulness/teamwork, and being able to handle the physical demands of jobs
