What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sheet Metal Superintendent position at McCorvey Sheet Metal?
McCorvey Sheet Metal is a family-owned and operated company with locations in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Orlando, and Raleigh. McCorvey Sheet Metal works primarily on larger projects such as hospitals, research labs, sports stadiums, schools, and many other vertical markets. We are currently seeking a highly experienced Superintendent to join our team!

- Able to pass a drug test
- Legally eligible to work in the US
- High school diploma
- Current driver’s license
- Proficient in English language
- 7 years of experience running HVAC ductwork for large projects
- Read, understand, and analyze blueprints and specifications
- Layout hangers utilizing dimensions or with a Trimble unit
- Full knowledge of ductwork, duct systems, water gauge, and different materials used
- Work with fellow employees with a respectful and tolerant attitude
- Willing to travel
- Line out employees each day on jobsite
- Work necessary hours to hit mandatory deadlines
- Fill out Daily Reports, 3 Week Look Ahead, percent complete on project, and turn in employee’s time
- Communicate with Project Managers and Superintendent every day
- Attend onsite meetings with Mechanical and GC
- Install the highest quality product
- Represent McCorvey in a professional manner
