What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Assistant position at McKenna Agency - Real Estate & Insurance?
Full-time on-site Office Assistant position with some flexible scheduling Monday through Friday
Wage: $15 per hour with a pay increase once licensed in P&C (must obtain Property and Casualty insurance license within 6 months of hire)
Duties:
Maintaining office supplies, ensuring equipment is functioning, coordinating with customers, and managing the overall organization of the office.
Answering phones, handling emails, and managing mail.
Managing calendars, scheduling appointments and meetings.
Organizing files and databases and ensuring information is easily accessible.
Providing assistance to colleagues and executives with various administrative tasks, supporting team projects, and acting as a point of contact for internal and external clients.
Handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Help with errands.
Notarial Duties once licensed. (required within 3 months of hire)
Once licensed you will also be required to write new business and assist with the existing portfolio.
This is a new position and will evolve.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Must obtain Property and Casualty insurance license within 6 months of hire.
Experience with computers and typing.
Preferred experience with Microsoft Office.
Must have prior customer service experience.
Must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Notarial Duties once licensed. (required within 3 months of hire)
