Job Summary: This position is responsible for the start of the Revenue Cycle, beginning with the scheduling of patient appointments, pre-registration, insurance verification/authorization and pre-appointment collections. Pre-Access Specialists must be able to perform all job competencies at or above the CHS standard of 95% accuracy as demonstrated by Quality Assurance checks of work produced.
Educational/Licensing: High school diploma or equivalent required. MOA or AA desired.
Qualifications: Medical terminology required, prior scheduling and insurance verification experience preferred. Strong demonstrated computer skills using a variety of computer programs and software applications required. Demonstrated customer service skills required. Demonstrated attention to accuracy and detail required. Demonstrated ability to collect co-pay/deductibles required. Must type 55wpm or better.
Salary : $21 - $33
