We are currently in search of a Project Executive for our New Construction Team in Seattle. We are looking for someone who likes to develop and manage project plans, schedules, and scopes of work on multi-million dollar projects. You're great at:

Project Management

As a Project Executive, you will be tasked with managing and executing the construction process from estimate turnover to final completion. Communication is key in this position as you will be the primary contact for project engineering staff during the construction phase and will need to communicate with general contractors, architects, engineers, owners, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to achieve the project goals. You will also work closely with the field and operations leadership team to identify needed resources, create and execute build plans and identify and eliminate risk in the project. To be successful in this position, you must have a strong sense of ownership, be technically sound, and be a strong team player and leader.

Project Controls

As a Project Executive, you will assume financial responsibility for projects including accurate, timely, and relevant cost and revenue reporting to stakeholders. This also includes facilitating invoice payments from clients and to subcontractors, reviewing and approving subcontractor billing, and preparing client and subcontractor change orders. You will also be responsible for assessing any potential job cost impacts and negotiating and tracking all change orders requests.

Team Management

As a Project Executive, you will be working closely with a dynamic team, with opportunities for coaching and mentoring project team members. You will be tasked with developing project staffing plans, establishing and leading associated meetings while defining individual project responsibilities. This may be a good fit if you enjoy working in a team atmosphere on projects with long durations.

What we would like to see from you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
• Ten (10) years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction
• Five (5) years of managing a team is required
• Proficient with scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera, and/or Suretrak preferred  
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and required
• Proficient with construction financial programs and software required
• Basic estimating skills preferred
