Performs cleaning and housekeeping projects following all department and hospital policies regarding hand-washing, personal protective equipment, and other infection control practices. Removes all regular and medical waste.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Removes all regular and medical waste.
- Cleans and disinfects all bathrooms and fixtures according to departmental guidelines.
- Cleans and disinfects all patient rooms on a daily basis per departmental guidelines.
- Performs all cleaning functions as scheduled (high and low dusting, disinfecting of all surfaces, window cleaning, dry and wet mopping.)
- Maintains all floor surfaces (dry and wet mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing or extraction, stripping, scrubbing, refinishing, burnishing.)
- Completes all housekeeping projects as assigned (stairwells, elevators, doors…)
- Attends monthly department meetings.
- Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.33 - $23.58 per hour
