What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychometrist position at McLean Hospital?
-Observe patients during and after testing, record behavioral observations and report to psychologist any information that may affect the validity of test results. -Train new Technicians as needed -Research activities to include pre-screening and recruitment of research subjects, coordinate study visits, data collection/entry, assisting in grant submission preparation, preparing research for presentation at conference and for publication in medical and scientific journals, perform literature reviews, prepare progress reports, and keeping current with IRB and regulatory requirements of research projects. -Accurately score all tests per standardized methods. Maintain an up-to-date and thorough knowledge of the scoring procedures for a wide variety of neuropsychological measures. -Create summary score sheets for each patient, detailing their performance by cognitive domain compared to the normative sample for each test. -Help establish and maintain an appropriate testing environment. -Enter scores and other data into a database as necessary.

prior experience with neuropsychological testing 2-3 years required knowledge of SPSS 0-1 year preferred
