POSITION SUMMARY
The shift Lead is described as the person who is in daily contact with the project manager and, on occasion, with the building occupants; ensures that employees maintain quality standards, safe conditions, and customer satisfaction. He/She is the single point of contact for a specific shift.
POSITIONS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meets daily with the Project Manager to ensure client expectations are met, as well as to obtain special instructions, such as meetings or special events. You can reach out to the customer contact as needed.
- Works with the Manager to handle and review customer complaints and assists with follow-up to ensure the situation is corrected in a timely manner.
- Performs daily inspections of staff members and assists team members as needed to ensure scope of work is completed daily.
- Assists with the training and onboarding of new employees, as well as assimilation into the team.
- Works with the Project Manager to ensure preventative maintenance is performed and that equipment is in good working order and safe to use.
- Responsible for ensuring that employees are properly uniformed.
- It can be a key fob with access to buildings.
- Works with the Project Manager to conduct safety toolbox meetings to ensure safe working conditions in your building, as well as to enforce company safety conduct rules to prevent injuries on the job. job.
- Helps the Project Manager communicate with employees, enforces company rules of conduct, and ensures a positive work environment.
- Reports supply inventory to the Project Manager.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position eligible for overtime. Hours may vary based on assigned projects.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONS
The Shift Lead is the first point of contact between the customer and McLemore personnel. He/she is responsible for relaying all concerns, complaints, and contract changes to the Project Manager.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Must have knowledge of all areas of cleaning building maintenance, including carpet removal, stripping/refinishing, floor waxing and floor tech experience. You must be aware of all McLemore security procedures as well as your building's security procedures. She must be able to communicate verbally in English and have basic reading and writing skills. Bloodborne pathogens training may be required. Physical requirements include standing and walking for long periods of time and reaching, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and operating equipment on occasion.
