Description
McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC is seeking a Foreclosure Processor for our growing New York practice. The ideal applicant MUST LIVE IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK and have experience in default operations; specifically, the processing of foreclosure, bankruptcy, and/or eviction case files for creditors. Remote options available, depending on the applicant’s experience and circumstances.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Communicating via email, phone, and client systems with court personnel, clients, opposing attorneys, and others
- Facilitating foreclosures, evictions, and bankruptcies
Skills/Abilities:
- Prior title review or title clearance experience is a plus
- Notaries or candidates willing to become a notary are preferred
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize numerous tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Ability to professionally communicate with and provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Working knowledge/experience with various client systems such as Black Knight/LPS, Tempo, and CaseAware strongly preferred.
- MS Office (including Excel, Outlook and Word) proficiency required.
Experience:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience in default operations, specifically the processing of foreclosure case files in New York
- Proficiency in MS Office products including Outlook and Teams
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines
Physical Demands:
- Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
- General high-volume, fast-paced work environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Occasional overtime may be required
