What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor position at McPeake Hotels, Inc?
The Hampton Inn & Suites of Aberdeen is looking for a Night Audit Front Desk Agent. The front desk agent is the first contact many of our hotel guests encounter. It is vital that you be friendly, smiling, and welcoming at all times. The front desk agent must enjoy interacting with guests and helping them make their stay with us exceptional. Night auditors must be comfortable with basic math, self-reliant, and confident with decision making.
Duties include:
Processing guest check-ins and check-outs
Answering multi-line phone system
Making reservations
Handling guest issues
Problem solving
Cleaning/disinfecting
Effective communication with other hotel departments
Professional attitude
Processing payments
Run closing reports and ensure balances
Send reports to management/ownership
Shift hours for night audit are 11pm-7am.
You must be comfortable with computers, and somewhat familiar with Microsoft Excel. Previous experience with Hilton's OnQ property management system is a plus, but not required.
You must be familiar with the surrounding area (Aberdeen, Southern Pines, and Pinehurst), or willing to become familiar quickly.
