What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Service Worker position at MDA CAA Early Childhood Program?
Currently, the Early Childhood Program is looking for a compassionate individual to fill a Family Service Worker role in Delta County! This position is full-time, working 40 hours per week for 44 weeks. The primary responsibility of the Family Service Worker is to develop and sustain relationships with families to identify, implement, and monitor progress towards individualized goals that address parent, child and family needs.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Social Work, or related field is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
· Previous experience working with families of young children using a strength-based approach is preferred. Training in group facilitation is also preferred.
· Must abide by state requirements for MI Child Care Licensing to include health requirements, and comprehensive background checks in the form of fingerprints.
