What are the responsibilities and job description for the Center Aide- Delta County position at MDS CAA Early Childhood Program?
For 55 years, the Menominee, Delta, Schoolcraft Community Action Agency Early Childhood Program has been dedicated to providing comprehensive services that support the healthy development of young children and their families. The program primarily serves low-income families with children from birth to age 5 as well as pregnant women through early childhood education, health and nutrition services, and family support services. We strive to promote a safe and healthy environment for our children, families, and staff through high quality training, resources and partnerships among the Menominee, Delta, and Schoolcraft communities.
Currently, the Early Childhood Program is looking for an adaptive individual to fill 3 Center Aide role in our Escanaba and Gladstone locations! The essential function of a Center Aide is to work as an effective team member in providing quality child development, health, disabilities, and transportation services that meet or exceed all regulatory requirements as directed. This position ranges from 26 hours a week to 33 hours a week.
Experience:
· Possession of a high school diploma/GED required.
· Some early childhood training/coursework is preferred.
· Must abide by state requirements for MI Child Care Licensing to include health requirements, and comprehensive background checks in the form of fingerprints.
