An important part of that is making sure the residents live and are cared for in a pleasant, sanitary and positive environment. We are looking for a skilled Housekeeping Manager to help maintain resident rooms and common areas in pursuing these goals. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect facility and equipment to determine need and extent of service, and equipment required. Perform all needed work that are in the scope of normal practice.
- Supervise and coordinate all activities of housekeeping personnel; inspect work through personal observation and instruct personnel to correct errors.
- Maintain cleaning and laundry supplies, linen supplies, and ensure adequate inventory is on hand.
- Investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take correct action.
- Conduct orientation and training of new employees.
- Update all departments daily
- Able to sweep, mop, and polish floors; vacuum carpets; clean restrooms; wash windows and walls; move and arrange furniture and equipment; pick up outside refuse.
- Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
- Demonstrate the ability to clean and sanitize areas of responsibility consistent with facility policy and procedure.
- Attend all facility and department in-service training.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to facility safety program at all times.
- Fulfill all other assigned duties by facility Administrator
- Able to lift loads of laundry, sort, wash, dry, iron, press, fold, and organize linens, towels, clothing, other washable fabrics required in the operation of the center.
- Must be willing to receive the COVID Vaccine or obtain a Medical or Religous Exemption
