Veterinary Assistant

Mebane Veterinary Hospital is searching for a Veterinary Assistant to join our growing, two-doctor team. This position is open to being full-time or part-time.

Who we’re looking for?

To uphold our positive hospital culture and ensure new hires mesh nicely with our existing team, we’re looking for Vet Assistants who prioritize teamwork, are easygoing and self-motivated, and have a well-rounded skill set.

• Client communication and education
• Vaccine and medication preparation
• Assist with Blood draws and IVC placement
• Pharmacy duties, lab work, and drug calculations
• Microscopic evaluation
• Outpatient procedures
• Assisting throughout the hospital as needed
• Experience with pocket pets is a plus!
