Bakery Cashier (Spanish/English)

Mecatos Bakery & Cafe located at 5645 Hansel Ave is looking for a full time or part time cashier to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, friendly, motivated, and hard-working. If you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, we would love to hear from you!

Candidates must be bilingual English & Spanish. Hours of store operations are Monday through Saturday 6:00 am until 9:00 pm and Sunday 8:00 until 8:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering and leaving the business.
• Ensure all orders are delivered to the customers in a timely manner
• Accurately process all cash and credit payments
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Clean and arrange eating area assuring that both outside and inside are tidy.
• Provide information to customer regarding products.
• Packaging the to go orders
• Stocking

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a cashier or in customer service
• Basic mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively in Spanish and English
• Bilingual English & Spanish is a must***
