EMS/AMBULANCE COMMUNICATIONS CENTER MANAGER
Position Overview
This position manages a 24/7 ambulance communications center. Successful candidates must be able to have the flexibility to alter schedule based upon departmental and operational needs.
The Dispatch Manager oversees the operations of a communications center, ensuring timely and efficient response to both emergent and inter-facility calls. They manage dispatch personnel, coordinate emergent and non-emergent response activities, and ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety policies. The manager is responsible for leading the dispatch team, improving dispatch processes, and ensuring excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. The Dispatch manager must lead by example. The Dispatch Manager reports directly to the Communications Center Director.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of five (5) years of EMS Communications Center management experience
- EMT-B or EMT-P license a plus
- EMD certification a plus
