Medford Animal Hospital, a 5-doctor small animal hospital, is searching for a Certified Veterinary Technician whose primary focus is Surgery to join our team.
We're looking for a CVT who has current, hands-on experience and is knowledgeable in surgery operations. Candidates must be team-oriented, have excellent attention to detail, and a passion for veterinary medicine.
Primary responsibilities and experience:
- Surgical assistance
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Dental prophy and radiology
- Patient handling and restraint
- Blood draw and IVC placement
- Drug calculations
- Client communication and education
Benefits and compensation:
- Compensation: $22 - $26/hour based on experience
- Bonus program: $2,000
- CE allowance: $500 the first year and $1,000 annual thereafter
