Position Overview: We are seeking a contract-to-hire Search Marketing Manager to support our Digital Marketing team. This is an in-person position. If you cannot commute to the office four days a week, DO NOT apply.

Job Description:
The Search Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the initiatives in both paid and organic search. We are seeking a creative-minded individual who knows that data is the foundation of a strong campaign. This person should have strong organizational and leadership skills, as well as be a strong communicator, as this role is client-facing.Â
The ideal candidate will be able to listen to the client's goals and craft a powerful paid and/or organic search strategy to meet them, working closely with the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ongoing management of client PPC accounts across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
- Review data and optimize campaigns to drive increased conversions and efficiency.
- Create reports and clearly communicate changes to clients.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to create a cohesive, multi-channel strategy.
- Google Ads Certified (certification within your first 30 days)
- Stay up to date on changes in the digital marketing industry and regularly participate in sharing with the team.
- Participate in 2–6 outreach and community events annually, providing social media coverage, content, and general event support.
Must Haves
- 3 - 5 years experience in PPC and SEO marketing
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Screaming Frog and SEMRush.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics 4 and pivot tables and vLOOKUPs.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting.
- Strong writing ability in order to create optimized content pieces.
- Ability to think strategically to craft marketing plans and attention to detail.
- Motivation and organization to work independently to get the job done, but still collaborate with the team to enhance your work and workflow.
- Experience leveraging generative AI to enhance the client’s marketing strategy.
- Excitement over independent learning and updates in industry trends.
Initial Expectations
- First 30 days > Gain familiarity with clients and workflow.Â
- First 60 days > Start communicating with clients and working independently on monthly reports.
- First 90 days > Take accountability for several PPC and SEO clients from account optimizations to reporting and client communication.
