What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Manager position at Medical Center Hospital?
Position Summary:
Assists the Divisional Director with the responsibility and accountability for the management of the department. Emphasis on independent decision making related to the clinical process. Demonstrates the ability to provide consistent direction for all nursing/clinical personnel in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating nursing/clinical activities.
Education:
Hold a current Texas permit or license in a related Healthcare discipline (Nursing, Radiology, etc.) Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field preferred, but not necessary.
Training and Experience:
BLS through the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.
Eighteen months full time status preferred (if less than 18 months, administrative approval required).
