Job Summary And Qualifications

Ensures all patients’ diet orders are completed accurately by maintaining up to date order information, editing menus following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition Care Manual, obtaining patient menu selections, communicating menu needs to production team, assembling food trays following food safety guidelines, and delivering food trays to patients.

Minimum Position Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  
  

Experience

• One or more years of experience in food service preferred.
  
  

Special Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Good interpersonal/communication skills.
• Able to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Knowledge of basic nutrition principles as related to modified diets preferred.
  
  

Medical City McKinney opened its doors more than 90 years ago. We are a 285 bed acute care hospital. We serve the residents of McKinney and northern Collin County. Our main campus is a Level III Trauma Center. We provide emergency services at our main campus and at Medical City ER Stonebridge. We have cardiovascular and neurological services. We offer general surgery, orthopedics and women's services. Additionally, a Level II neonatal intensive care unit and behavioral health services. Medical City McKinney is a Primary Stroke Center.
