Position Summary:Can function in Central Sterile by decontaminating, cleaning, preparing, and processing instruments, equipment and supplies for re-use and/or sterilization process. May also transport, assist in cleaning, answering phones in the Operating Room if needed. The North Hills Hospital staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from newborn through adolescence. The attached criteria based performance evaluation provides a specific set of standards as they relate to age specific competency.

What qualifications you will need:

Position Qualifications:

1.Education:

A. Able to read and speak English.

2.Experience:

A.One year previous experience in Central Sterile and/or scrub experience

B.ORT, CST or LVN preferred but not necessary.
