Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager of Medical Staff Services (MSS) implement compliance with credentialing initiatives/processes. The incumbent is expected to maintain a working knowledge of applicable HCA Healthcare and Parallon Credentialing Processing Center (CPC) policies, accreditation standards and regulations associated with medical staff services, and play a key role in the integration of HCA Clinical Strategies and HCA systems.

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION:

• Associates’ degree in medical staff services science, business, or related field of study or an equivalent combination of training and experience required.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:

• Certified Professional Medical Services Management and/or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Medical Staff Services management and comprehensive credentialing in an acute care hospital or Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO) setting.

Medical City Weatherford is a 100 bed acute-care hospital. We serve Parker County and surrounding communities. Our medical staff represents 30 medical specialties. Our health care services include inpatient and outpatient care, medical-surgical and emergency care. We are a designated Comprehensive (Level II) Stroke Facility and Level IV Trauma Center.
