Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.

Primary Responsibilities
- Prepares and keeps financial and business transactions data up-to-date and prepares reports to ensure accurate accounting records.
- Prepares, records, and verifies information.
- Calculates, posts, and processes transactions and other clerical finance related support.
- Monitor budget accounts and expenditures.
- Monitor standing orders and commitments
- Monitor grant accounts to ensure accuracy of budget assignments and expenditures.
- Assist in preparing and writing grant information for submission.
- Interact with faculty/staff on grant agency spending policies and procedures.
- Assist in preparing semi-monthly financial statements.
- Assist in preparing the annual budget.
- Prepare all deposits for external and internal funds received by the department.
- Coordinate special projects as needed.
- Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, collaboration, and information management.
- Organization, time management, interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills.
