The Practice Services Supervisor, will supervises the day-to-day operations of charge capture staff including: monitoring workflow, delegating work, especially as it relates to issues concerning charge capture for professional services rendered in multi-specialty medical practice. Completes human resource functions including interviewing, hiring, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations and staff development. Minimum Qualifications: Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis. Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree Minimum Required Experience: 5 years of related experience required. Certifications/Licenses: Coding certification (CPC, CCS-P) and/or Health Information Management credential, RHIT, RHIA. Preferred Experience: Strong preference for experience in a multi-specialty professional billing coding and charge capture and overall knowledge of entire revenue cycle; previous supervisory and/or lead experience preferred.
