Responsibilities:
- Provide essential foot care to at-risk geriatric population
- Diagnose, treat, or prescribe treatment of the foot, ankle, and related structures using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results
- Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, and appropriate methods of foot care
- Advise patients about treatments and foot care techniques to prevent future problems
- Record all diagnoses, treatments, and prescriptions
- Refer patients to other physicians or specialists for consultation when necessary
Requirements:
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from an accredited school
- Current and valid license to practice podiatric medicine in the state of application
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
