What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Nurse position at Medical Facilities of America?
RN / LPN M-F 11a-7p shift. 6 week on call rotation.
Participates in the admission / discharge / transfer process.
Thoroughly documents clinical findings, assessments, and interventions.
Communicates patient status to the Unit Manager and other members of the interdisciplinary team as necessary.
Ensures compliance with company policy as well as federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
Effectively collaborates with medical staff and other departments to coordinate all aspects of patient care.
Attends training, in-service education, and staff meetings.
Attend patient / family meetings including care plans as necessary.
Performs other duties as necessary for the successful operation of the healthcare center.
