Do you have 2 years of experience in a healthcare office or fast paced customer service setting and excellent written and verbal communication skills? Would you enjoy working in one of WNY's leading Pediatric practices where partnership between the family and our medical care team is the top goal? If so, you may be a perfect fit for our Patient Care Assistant role!
We are currently recruiting for dedicated, energetic candidates to join our team. Some of your daily tasks will include:
- Greets patients and visitors in a friendly manner.
- Verify demographics, insurance information, and collect co-payments.
- Manage multiple phone lines and schedule appointments as well as follow up on missed appointments.
- Participate on care and quality improvement initiatives.
- Compile information, maintain records, and transmit correspondence using mail, email, fax and/or an EMR system.
- Answer incoming phone calls and make outgoing calls to patients
- Schedule patient's in MEDENT
- Referrals/Authorizations
- Medical Insurance Background

Requirements
Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years in a healthcare setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must
- MEDENT Experience preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
1-2 evening shifts a week required, 1-2 Saturday's a month required
