Description

Employee Services has the immediate need for a part time skilled Counselor. The Counselor will provide counseling and case management for our EAP members who call for support.

Primary responsibilities include conducting a telephonic triage, assessment, providing in the moment support and coordinating resources.

Must have 5 years of post master's degree experience.

The schedule for this position is Wednesday and Friday evenings, 3 : 30pm - 9pm

Responsibilities

• Conducts telephonic triage and assessment, providing in the moment support to members on issues, including but not limited to : behavioral health, substance abuse, relationship, and work-life, and coordinates resources.
• Coordinates and completes case management of intakes.
• Makes clinical determinations in adherence with Company risk policy and in the member and Company’s best interest.
• Provides referrals to service provider network and / or other resources as appropriate for financial concerns, legal concerns, personal assistant, and work-life requests.
• Telehealth intake assessments triage, coaching, brief solution-focused counseling to members on issues, including but not limited to : behavioral health, substance abuse, relationship, and work-life issues.
• Consults with service providers to make referrals and complete session authorizations. Follows cases to completion.
• Utilizes computer-based case management system to complete professional documentation
• Consults with Human Resources and supervisory personnel from client companies regarding employee issues and concerns
• Maintains industry knowledge and ethical code.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in behavioral health field (social work, psychology, counseling, or related field)

5 years of post Master's degree experience as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counselor or equivalent behavioral health clinical experience.
