Clinic Manager

Division: Capstone Family Physicians, a department of Medical Network of Alaska

MNA Delivers leadership, support, and guidance to healthcare facilities of all sizes across multiple specialists with the primary goal of providing accessibility, value, and quality medical administrative support services.

What You’ll Do:

The clinic manager is responsible for executing the organization's policies, procedures, and operational processes. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of non-provider clinical and administrative activities. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include conducting interviews, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.

• Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff.
• Maintains office efficiency planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
• Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments.
• Completes operation requirements by scheduling, assigning employees, and following up on work results.
• Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports, summarizing information, and identifying trends.
• Approves and/or denies timecards and leave requests for staff.

What You Need For This Job:

• High School Diploma or general education degree
• Associate’s degree in health or business administration; two or more years of office management-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred First- Aid, CPR
• Must reside in or near Wasilla, Alaska.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of EMR software and Microsoft Office Software.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, use hands, or feel and talk and hear. Ability to occasionally sit, reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel; crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to lift and/or move 50 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
