Duties:
- Provide excellent patient service by greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist medical professionals with medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing insurance information
- Support patient care by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting with procedures
- Utilize your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately document patient information and assist with medical assessments
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues
- Take vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training
- Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical procedures and protocols
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and electronic health record management
