Overview
Medicine Wheel Clinic is seeking a Physician to join our healthcare team. We are an MOUD drug treatment center that has served Barrow County and the surrounding region since 2008. We are seeking someone who is passionate about helping people who are addicted to opioids. We believe in the family business model and have no other corporations guiding patient care. The ideal candidate will have a person-centered approach to care, stay up to date about the latest training and regulations related to OUD, and work well with other clinical staff. We are willing to sponsor training for a doctor who is passionate about entering the addiction field as well.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, evaluations, and physicals for patients experiencing OUD (Opioid Use Disorder)
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret test results
- Be available 5-15 hours per week, with occasional verbal orders for emergencies
