Enrollment Data Support Specialist

This position is responsible for the enrollment activities of various Student insurance accounts. This work includes handling both manual and batch data-entry of enrolling and disenrolling members into insurance Enrollment and Claims systems. Conduct and offer customer service for members/schools/brokers including answering phones and assisting customers with escalated enrollment issues. Responsibilities include creating detailed documentation of enrollment processes and assisting with enrollment reconciliation.

In this role, you will…

• Process manual and/or automated eligibility data into Enrollment and Claims systems accurately while meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
• Follow Wellfleet standard enrollment processes and adhere to HIPAA privacy guidelines.
• Work with Customer Service representatives, Account Managers, and clients to resolve escalated enrollment issues in a professional manner.
• Resolve enrollment issues and variances arising during the enrollment process and billing periods.
• Maintain plan-level data in Enrollment system that supports client website functionality, and audit client websites for correct functionality and messaging.
• Document processes and procedures for Enrollment-related functions as required.
• Coordinate with Account Managers the student selection and timing of e-mail blast campaigns.
• Communicate issues, concerns etc. to supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We are looking for candidates with…

• Minimum of Associate degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred).  Equivalent work experience may be substituted.
• Skilled in working with MS Office suite products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
• Knowledge of enrollment policies/regulations and the ability to interpret them in relation to specific incidents.
• High level of organizational skills and abilities and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professional etiquette at all times.
• Knowledge of data entry practices, principles, methods, and techniques.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to be flexible in prioritizing workloads to meet changing deadlines.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
