What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner – Wound Care – Elgin, IL position at Medrina?
We are a large physician-owned group expanding in Elgin, IL. This is an opportunity to join our lead physician providing wound care in both Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and in-home settings. Wound care experience is REQUIRED, and certification in wound care is preferred. Proficiency in the misting technique is also required. We offer a flexible schedule and generous compensation—401k, health insurance, malpractice, CME, etc.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
- Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement.
- Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
