Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Critical Care Unit, ensuring exceptional patient care delivery and optimal clinical outcomes.
- Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee department operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation, to optimize workflow and quality standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient treatment plans and improve overall healthcare services.
- Drive continuous quality improvement efforts, fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in critical care.
- Utilize advanced problem-solving skills and strategic leadership to resolve operational challenges effectively.
- Mentor and support nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
· Experience: Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in acute/critical care settings.
· Licensure: Active RN license (NC or multistate compact).
· Regulatory Expertise: Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance standards, accreditation requirements, and patient safety protocols.
· Leadership & Communication: Exceptional ability to lead teams, drive engagement, and implement innovative care strategies.
· Technical Skills: Proficient in critical care best practices, performance improvement methodologies, and advanced clinical operations management.
