Medstar Health is looking for new Clinical Aides. With openings amongst our four Baltimore area hospitals, we are eager to find someone with experience who can contribute and assist our Radiology and Imaging Services Departments.
Primary Duties:
1. Greeting and communicating with patients while transporting to appropriate imaging department such as CT, Xray, MRI, etc.
2. Maintaining equipment between patients and procedures to properly ensure the cleanliness and safety of patients and machinery. Preparing patients and equipment for radiological exams as directed by Imaging Staff.
3. Stocking rooms and taking inventory of needed supplies to ensure the overall function of the imaging departments and radiologists.
4. Uploading and documenting patient information in Electronic Health Record (EHR) as needed for review by radiology techs and physicians.
5. Contributes to overall success of imaging departments through teamwork by providing assistance as indicated.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· Valid CPR certification required
· 6 months related experience
· Working knowledge of medical terminology
· Verbal and written communication skills
