Unit Highlights- We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) team at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital. MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital is a Complex Care Hospital. The IMC RN will provide high-quality patient care for individuals who require close monitoring and frequent assessment, supporting patients transitioning from ICU or at high risk of requiring critical care. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the IMC RN provides comprehensive care, including assessments, treatments, and continuous observation, ensuring patient stability and preventing complications.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
- Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
