Cyber Security Analyst

The Role

Reporting into the Cyber Security Manager, this role will play an essential role in supporting security compliance activities for Megaport. You will work primarily with Cyber Security Manager and other members of the Governance, Risk and Compliance team to develop, implement and maintain Megaport’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) in support of strategic, compliance and regulatory (privacy and telecommunications) requirements.

• Perform cyber security related activities in support of compliance obligations (e.g. ISO27001, Telecommunications regulations).
• Participate and support cyber security risk assessment
• Monitor global cyber security, laws and best practices, and advise management on updates.
• Educate and train employees (group presentations and 1-on-1).
• Preparing responses to internal and external requests for information.
• Maintaining risk registers.
• Assisting with risk reporting.
• Assisting with compliance reporting.
• Assisting with policies and procedures management.
• Creating and maintaining customer assurance materials.
• Assist in the audit and testing life cycle for ISO27001 compliance.

• Foundational knowledge of the cyber security industry.
• Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the business.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• The ability to manage time well, prioritize effectively and handle multiple deadlines under pressure.
• Sufficient knowledge of information technology and data management systems.
• Experience with Google suite of products (i.e. docs, sheets) as well as Microsoft suite of products (i.e. word, excel).
• Advanced analytical and research skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
