MEI Finance is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for performing accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and process of accounts payable transactions.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Schedule, prepare, and issue vendor invoices
- Process expense reports and prepare reimbursement checks
- Assign and distribute prepared checks for processing
- Investigate past due invoices and statements
- Respond to vendor inquiries
- Data Entry
- Update department logs
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 1- 2 years Accounts Payable or General Accounting Clerk experience required
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Proficient in Excel
- Proficient in data entry
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Manage tight deadlines and fast paced environment
- Good Interpersonal, detail oriented, and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good judgement, initiative and accuracy
- Must maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
