Position Purpose:
We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven National Business Development Manager to spearhead the nationwide expansion of Meiborg 3PL’s client base and strategic partnerships. This role will focus on acquiring new business, fostering key relationships, leading contract negotiations, managing customer agreements, and building a high-performing sales team to drive growth across multiple regions. The ideal candidate is an experienced B2B sales leader with extensive logistics expertise and a proven ability to deliver results on a national scale.

Job Location: Houston, TX
Essential Responsibilities:
· Formulate and implement a nationwide business development plan to expand Meiborg 3PL’s footprint across diverse industries and regions.
· Surpass revenue goals by cultivating new client relationships and strengthening ties with existing 3PL partners.
· Source, evaluate, and secure high-value deals with eCommerce companies, manufacturers, retailers, and logistics providers across the country.
· Negotiate contracts and oversee customer agreements to establish strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.
· Recruit, develop, and lead a top-tier sales team, managing onboarding, training, mentoring, and performance assessments to fuel national expansion.
· Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and client demands to position Meiborg 3PL as a premier logistics provider.
· Partner with operations, customer service, and marketing teams to ensure business development aligns with service excellence and company objectives.
· Act as Meiborg 3PL’s ambassador at industry events, trade shows, and client engagements to boost brand recognition and forge strategic alliances.
Qualifications/Skills:
· 7 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in 3PL, logistics, or supply chain industries, ideally with a national focus.
· Consistent history of achieving or surpassing revenue targets in sophisticated, solution-driven sales settings.
· Proven expertise in negotiating contracts and managing customer agreements within the logistics or 3PL sector.
· Robust network of contacts within the 3PL and logistics industry across various regions.
· Outstanding leadership abilities with a track record of building and scaling sales teams.
· Strategic vision combined with a proactive, results-oriented approach to execution.
· Superior skills in communication, negotiation, and fostering client relationships.
· Experience thriving in a dynamic, growth-focused environment is a plus.
