What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master Tech position at Meineke | #2828?
A master tech within the shop will help with all aspects of shop management. This is a position that requires extensive experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles, this is not an entry level position in automotive repair. This position responsibilities includes the training of other junior techs, bay scheduling and management, and all other aspects of ensuring repairs are done timely and accurately. Incentives are dependent upon the different skill sets the employee has, the more they can do the more they can make.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to diagnose issues with cars and trucks. Experience diagnosing chassis, A/C, engines, transmissions, exhaust, electrical, and all other potential issues with vehicles.
- Ability to handle the repairs of all vehicles up to medium duty to include engine and transmission replacements.
- Tools and scanners to perform the repair tasks
- Ability to work Saturdays on at least a rotating schedule
- Dependable transportation
- Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs repetitively throughout the day
- Experience using the Hunter machines for alignments, brakes, tires, and A/C are required.
