Overview
To perform “surgical” technician duties. Assisting with draping and the utilization of instruments for a particular surgery. Basic knowledge of sterile technique and sterilization procedures. Qualifications
Education:
- High-school graduate diploma. Anatomy and Physiology class preferred
- A graduate operating-room technician or previous experience as an OR Technician.
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
- CPR certification required, or obtained during nursing team onboarding process.
